How did 2 months old baby sleep through the party? 10 points for the best advice.?

My friend just has a baby two months ago. They are invited to formal party. Many important people were at the party. They had to bring the baby with them because everybody know they just had a baby. The weird thing was the baby slept the whole time. Even when we took pictures of her..





What do you think? The baby is not dead but do you think they putted the baby to sleep so she did not cry to annoy the guests?How did 2 months old baby sleep through the party? 10 points for the best advice.?
Some babies do sleep well. I was 6 months old and slept through the furnace exploding. My dad was amazed.How did 2 months old baby sleep through the party? 10 points for the best advice.?
I did it also. Once at 3 weeks(outside party in Aug) at 1 1/2 months inside wedding, 2 months inside wedding.... and more.





It's a lot of information for the young babies to process. I think they just get exhausted trying to process all the information.





The more often the baby is out with you doing this the more it gets used to the noise. A baby that always sleeps in pure silence will always want pure silence. (open the window for some noise, ect.)





Take the baby to the quietest corner, and breast feed. After baby falls asleep, Wait at least 15 mins before moving to the buggy, set baby in the buggy. If possible put baby outside where one can see he/she. everyone in Ger, does this if conditions are optimal.





Note: there is some evidence that loud, very loud to loud music causes distress, amongst other problems, brain development in young babies(fetus also). Try to keep baby away from the music.
they are lucky and got a baby who loves to sleep.


no i really doubt they gave their 2 month old child sleeping pills, i just think that the baby was worn out after a long day of plaing, feeding, pooping etc and was having a nice sleep.


my cousin was like that, she used to sleep from 8pm right through till sometimes 10am at as little as 6 weeks...my mam was jelous :P





so i think your friend has been blessed with a baby who can sleep right through and is a heavy sleeper.

my parents took me to a bowling alley a couple days after i was born (since they bowled on a league and all) and i slept through the whole thing.


some babies are just really heavy sleepers. my son slept through a live band at an american legion one night. sometimes the babies are just so tired, nothing will keep them awake
babies that old just sleep a lot. I remember my son was one month at christmas and everywhwere we went he slep the whole time. People kept telling me';you got alcohol in those breast?'; Even when we went to have pics taken he is asleep in almost all the pics even through all the changing of positions. It is normal at that age, they probably couldn't even help it.

Babies at that age sleep. My baby slept one time for four hours straight. I got her out of her crib, dressed her, put her in the car, and she slept the whole time. she even slept through the ';Mom and Me'; exercise class with the music blaring.


I think your friend's baby is normal.
Babies are strange when comes to sleeping. When daughter was a baby, the tiniest noise at home would wake her up. However if we took her out to eat at a restaurant she would pass out in her car seat the whole time we were there. I think it had something to do with the background noise.
Babies often sleep in places %26amp; around people they don't know %26amp; aren't comfy. She may just be a sound sleeper. And 2 month old babies sleep A LOT. Don't worry or be offended. In a few months the baby will up for your next party %26amp; you'll wish s/he wasn't.
They still sleep alot at that age and then again I had a friend give her kid Tylenol so that the baby wouldnt wake up durnin this this we had that was really big. Nothing really bothers a baby at that age they can sleep though anything! Think about it they are use to the bounced around all day and night when they were in the belly.
no.... the baby was taking a nap. my little girl is 6 wks and sleeps whenever i take her anywhere. she sleeps through noise very well too.

My babies sometimes would sleep through things like that. It's pretty noisy in the womb, babies are used to that, not the artificial quiet that many parents think they need. If all her needs are met, why wouldn't she sleep?
i think its normal maybe the baby was tired my mom did daycare before and i was there the kids were SO loud and she had a real little baby their and the baby's fine. the baby was probaly real tired and if their use to noise nothing will bother them
did you ever stop to think that maybe they have a good baby? I mean my son use to sleep throught everything too. he hardly ever cried.





most new borns and 2 month olds need alot of sleep anyway.
no they probably just change the baby's diaper then feed the baby. it very normal for a baby to sleep for 3-6 hours after that!!
A two month old baby sleeps a lot, people seem to think that noise or a lot of people will wake a baby up that isn't so.
My daughter slept great too so, to answer your question...no, I don't think they gave her something so she would sleep. Newborn babies sleep like 18 out of 24 hours - it's completely normal.
